The Hubble Ultra-Deep Field (background) is a deep-field image taken from September 2003 to January 2004 by the Hubble Space Telescope.
Though it covers an area of the sky only 2.4 arcminutes, 0.04 degrees, wide, it contains about 10,000 galaxies.
